Congress legislator Nitesh Rane today claimed that an aide of BJP MLA Santosh Danve had tried to molest two women government officers in train.

Santosh is the son of BJP's Maharashtra unit president Raosaheb Danve.

The incident occurred on Sunday on Devgiri Express, Rane told reporters at Vidhan Bhawan here.

"Sachin Jadhav, PA (personal assistant) to BJP MLA Santosh Danve, who was in train allegedly in an inebriated condition tried to molest the two women," Rane said.

While one officer works with district collectorate at Nanded, the other is a chief officer in Marathwada, he added.

Both the women hail from backward community, said Rane, son of Congress leader Narayan Rane.

"The women complained about the incident on the women's helpline but their complaints are now untraceable," he alleged.
