In an embarrassment to the Rajasthan government, a ruling party MLA today said that not even a single pact inked by the Vasundra Raje dispensation to attract investment to his constituency has been implemented.
BJP MLA from Kota South constituency Sandeep Sharma today sought to know in the Assembly the status of the agreements signed between investors and the Raje dispensation.
During the Question Hour, he said the state government had signed 16 MoUs during the Resurgent Rajasthan Summit to attract investment in Kota but not a single pact was realised.

He asked the State Industries Minister Rajpal Singh Shekhawat when will be the MoUs executed.
"There is no government land available in Kota to set up industries. So land cannot be allotted to business establishments and setting up industries on forest land requires clearance from the forest department," the industries minister replied to the question.
Earlier, senior BJP legislator Ghanshyam Tiwari sought information on expenditure made on the Resurgent Rajasthan Summit and status of the MoUs signed during the event. However, the questioned was postponed.
