BJP MLAs today met the Lt Governor Najeeb Jung urging him to ensure that Delhi government tables Fourth Delhi Finance Commission Report and Jan Lokpal Bill in the coming session of Vidhan Sabha.
The three BJP MLAs including Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Vijender Gupta met Jung at his office and alleged that Delhi Government is "strategically dilly-dallying" introduction of the Finance Commission report and Jan Lokpal Bill in the Assembly.
The also expressed concern about the "efforts" of Kejriwal government to "dilute" Lokayukta Act making it "toothless".

Gupta alleged that the government is not putting the Finance Commission report on the table of Vidhan Sabha since it wants to "stifle and financially starve" the three Municipal Corporations ruled by BJP, in view of the elections to the local bodies scheduled in early 2017.
Urging the Lt Governor to ensure that the Jan Lokpal Bill is introduced in the Assembly without further delay, the MLAs alleged that Kejriwal is "shying away" from tabling the Bill to "shield" "corrupt" MLAs of his party.
"The Government has not committed to table the Bill in the Assembly session beginning from November 18. It is working on it and will soon present it in the Assembly," a senior government functionary said.
