After making allegations that some Union ministers were ignoring BJP parliamentarians belonging to backward castes, party MP Ravindra Kushwaha today said he raised the issue with Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu during a meeting in New Delhi.

The meeting held yesterday was convened on the directions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Salempur BJP MP said.

During the 20 minutes long meeting, Naidu asked him about the issues that needed to be resolved, he said.

Kushwaha said Naidu assured him that required attention would be paid on development activities in his constituency.

Kushwaha had earlier this week alleged that whenever OBC MPs of BJP write to the ministers on public grievances, no action is taken and they just complete the formality by sending a formal letter in return.
