Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has asked BJP to make its stand clear on the central government's decision to keep Delhi assembly in a suspended animation.
"BJP has been trying to mislead the people by resorting to desperate tactics in its failed bid to divert attention from the real issue of allowing the people of Delhi to have an elected government in the national capital," a statement issued by the party said.
In his letter of resignation last week as Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal had asked the Lt Governor to dissolve the assembly and conduct fresh elections. The party strongly favours immediate elections along with Lok Sabha polls.

The party has asked BJP whether it endorses the central government's decision to postpone Delhi assembly elections.
"When no party is in a position to form a government in Delhi and the Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to take place in two months time, does BJP want to impose an additional financial burden on the people by postponing the assembly elections?" the statement said, adding BJP must answer the questions raised by the party instead of indulging in "diversionary tactics".
