Congress today accused the BJP of joining hands with the separatists in Kashmir Valley and asked the party to clear its stand on Article 370.
"BJP always take a U-turn on all the political issues, they have joined hands with the separatists in Kashmir. The party should clear its stand on Article 370," senior Congress leader and state minister Sham Lal Sharma said while addressing election rallies in Akhnoor today.
He accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of shattering the hopes of the people of the country who elect him.

Terming the BJP a house divided, Sharma accused the party of betraying the people of Jammu region, "They have publically admitted their soft corner towards Kashmir centric parties and they are now even demanding the revocation of AFSPA to appease the pro-Pakistani groups. They are also patronising militant outfits in the valley for electoral gain," he said.
He said Modi even failed to raise the slogan of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Jai Hind" during his rally in Srinagar.
While urging the electors to vote for Congress, Sharma said, "Congress is the saviour of the interest of the common people. In our manifesto we have promised regional development councils and reservations for border residents which would provide equitable share in developmental funds and government employment opportunities to all.
