BJP today organised 'Jan Chaupals' (public meetings) at 763 polling booths in Delhi on the occasion of the 83rd death anniversary of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru.

As part of the public contact programme, Harsh Vardhan - BJP's Lok Sabha candidate from Chandni Chowk - met with people at four such chaupals.

Speaking to the public, Vardhan assured them that Delhi will be provided full statehood if BJP comes to power under the leadership Narendra Modi.

He said despite Sibal being the MP from Chandni Chowk, the area was in a pathetic condition and assured the people that if BJP wins he will develop the area in a uniform manner.

He asked party workers to concentrate on their respective booths, saying "whoever wins at the booth level, wins the election".
