JD(U) today accused BJP of practising politics of "double standards" on the Kashmir issue and dismissed tweets of Union Minister V K Singh saying that he was only following a "Common Minimum Programme" agreed upon by BJP and PDP.
JD(U) spokesperson K C Tyagi also noted that the earlier NDA government, led by Atal Bihari Vajpayee, had initiated a dialogue process with all political groups including the Hurriyat Conference.
Similarly the coalition government of BJP and PDP in the state has decided to facilitate and help initiate a sustained and meaningful dialogue with all internal stakeholders, he claimed, which will include all political groups irrespective of their ideological views and predictions and this dialogue seeks to build a broad-based consensus on resolution of all outstanding issues of Jammu and Kashmir.
