The women's wing of Delhi BJP today held protests against AAP MLA Somnath Bharti, a day after his wife lodged a complaint of domestic violence, mental torture, dowry and forgery against him with the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW).
Scores of protesters marched towards his residence in Malviya Nagar, shouting slogans demanding a strict probe into the matter.
Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay who led the protesters, accused the ruling AAP of behaving like anarchists, saying, "They are not at all interested in development of Delhi."

The MLA's wife Lipika Bharti yesterday in her complaint had alleged that she and her children were subjected to mental, physical and oral harassment by her husband and she has a persistent life threat from her husband and his supporters.
She also accused Bharti of cheating her by saying lies about his professional status before the marriage.
Bharti who was a law minister during AAP's first stint of 49-day government, denied the allegations leveled against him and called them 'baseless'.
Other party members refused to comment on the issue saying it was a 'personal' matter.
