"I think we should have a discussion on FDI in Parliament. And I think it is ridiculous for a minority, which is why they are in the opposition, to transgress Parliamentary propriety, Parliamentary practise, Parliamentary precedent and Parliamentary protocol to disrupt the House day after day," Aiyar said speaking at a function here.
"They claim that they represent the sentiment of the nation. If they had represented the sentiment of the nation, we would have been in opposition and they would have been in the government," said Aiyar.
"I have often called the BJP fascist, but I had never seen better proof of the fact....If they cannot have their way, they will not let anyone else have his way."
Expressing disappointment over the behaviour of the BJP MPs on the floor of the House, Aiyar added, "If they cannot behave properly in the Parliament, I appeal to the Chairman and to the Speaker to just pick them up by the scruff of the neck and throw them in the gutter from where they have come and where they should return."
