Union Minister Kalraj Mishra has said that BJP is reworking its strategy in Uttar Pradesh in the wake of its debacle in the recent Delhi polls but denied that he had attributed the loss to entry of "parachute leaders".

Mishra, Minister for Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises, said the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) might have stopped the victory run of BJP but there was no lack of zeal among BJP workers. The party was preparing for the 2017 UP assembly elections with full force.

The entire opposition, including Congress, contributed to the success of AAP in the Delhi polls and it was the reason behind BJP's defeat.

Kalraj said that his ministry would provide employment to one lakh youths in Uttar Pradesh every year and for this 12,000 units of small industries would be set up.

He said that this would be done under the PM's employment creation programme.
