BJP's Bihar unit expands team

Bihar BJP president Nityanand Rai today expanded his state level committee and included four new vice presidents, five secretaries, four spokespersons and a convenor of president' office, tours and programmes.

The party president has appointed Putul Singh, Samrat Choudhary, Nitish Mishra and Anil Verma as the new vice presidents in addition to the existing 10 vice presidents, the letter, issued by vice president and party's Headquarters Incharge, Devesh Kumar said.

The five new secretaries are Rajesh Verma, Jagannath Thakur, Ganauri Manjhi, Bhim Sahu and Umesh Prasad Vishwakarma while Jivesh Mishra (MLA), Manoj Sharma (MLA), Ajit Choudhary and Nikhil Anand will be party spokespersons.

 

With the expansion, the number of secretaries will go up to 15 while the number of spokesmen will increase to 12 from the existing eight.

Sanjay Singh has been appointed the convenor of president' office, tours and programmes, Devesh Kumar said adding that the convenor would take care of party chief's tours and programmes.
