Ruling BJP has set up a hi-tech call centre to coordinate with party workers at various levels of organisation, in a bid to facilitate faster exchange of information through social media in run-up to elections.

"We will coordinate with party members working in various capacities across all districts in the state and will intimate them about party activities through this call centre," Rasik Parmar, head, BJP Media Cell, said today.

Chhattisgarh, which sends 11 MPs to Lok Sabha, is going to polls in three-phases on April 10, 17 and 24.

"We will exchange information with at least 50 party workers in one go through this call centre by using audio bridge technology," said BJP IT Cell state coordinator Deepak Mhaske.

He said BJP had been extensively using social media to reach out to maximum number of voters and is also disseminating information regarding various steps taken by the party towards welfare of common people.
