Former Rajasthan chief minister and Congress leader Ashok Gehlot today said the BJP government should make adequate arrangement to address the problem of water shortage in the state.
"The government should take the water crisis in the state seriously and should make proper arrangement for water supply in villages and other areas," Gehlot said.
He also demanded change in the timing for workers under MNREGA in view of heat wave conditions in the state.
Welcoming the state cabinet's decision to endorse the decision of former government led by him to set up three agriculture universities in Rajasthan, Gehlot said the government should work with positive attitude in other issues too, including setting up of an oil refinery in Barmer and Jaipur Metro rail project.
