BJP also attacked Law Minister Salman Khurshid for "mocking at" Anna Hazare by asking him to seek justice from the United Nations and said the people of the nation were listening to the voice against corruption and such statements would prove costly to him and his party.
"We condemn the act of certain Congress activists who wanted to disrupt the dharna of Anna Hazare and his team. It is unacceptable, it is undemocratic and every individual have the right to put forward their point and protest democratically," BJP spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudy said.
He said, "The BJP does understand that there is an enormous restlessness in Congress circle about the charges of corruption. We do understand that.... But we would like to tell Anna Hazare and his team that it is not very unusual."
Hitting out at Khurshid for suggesting Hazare to seek justice from United Nations, Rudy said his statement is "amazing."
"It is a bizarre statement. It is a mock of an individual and one does not expect such statements from Salman Khurshid. The people of nation are listening to the voice against corruption and this mocking statement will prove very costly for him and the Congress Party."
Supporting Team Anna, Rudy said the party has all the sympathies with them and said they have to be aware that this is a part of the agitation.
"We stand by Team Anna as far as any disruption or any disturbance which is created to them personally. I am sure all people and all political parties in this country will agree that every individual has the right to protest and make their point. We are concerned deeply about it."
