Taking a stern action, Rajasthan BJP today suspended its newly elected Ganganagar Municipal Council Chairman Ashok Kumar Chandak and District President Ashok Nagpal from the primary membership of the party, following reports of alleged "indiscipline" in civic polls.

In his order, BJP State President Ashok Parnami decided to suspend the duo from the primary membership on allegation of "gross indiscipline" during civic body polls recently, a party spokesman said.

Chandak had won the Gangangar Municipal Council seat as a councillor and got elected as GMC Chairman by party councillors, while Nagpal was former MLA, the spokesman said.
