BJP workers in Samajwadi Party President Mulayam Singh Yadav's constituency today took out a procession carrying lamps and torches to symbolically locate the "missing" MP, who they alleged, had not visited the area since the Lok Sabha elections in May this year.
Hundreds of BJP workers started a procession from the party's district unit office near the roadways bus stand with torches and lamps, raising slogans like "Azamgarh ka hai elaan, khojo Mulayam pao inaam" (Its an announcement in Azamgarh...Whoever finds Mulayam Singh will get reward).
The procession, which passed through various main streets covering Civil Lines and Pachdev Temple, ended with a meeting at the Collectorate.

"But he has not even visited the constituency to thank the electorate for voting him. Whereas, other big leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, are going to their constituencies to meet people and thank them for their support. It looks as if Mulayam Singh is missing," Yadav said, claiming that locals also joined the procession in large numbers.
