BJP would file a 'chargesheet' against the TRS government for its 'failures' and 'corruption' in implementing various government schemes, the party's National General secretary, P Muralidhar Rao said today.
Rao, who stated this at a press conference here, alleged that the state government was diverting funds sanctioned by the Centre for the purpose and not implementing various union government schemes.
"BJP is the alternative to TRS and TDP in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.... People will teach a lesson to these parties and Congress in the 2019 elections, he said.
Keeping the polls in mind, the party was concentrating its efforts in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, he said.
His remarks come against the backdrop of the party launching its two week 'Jana Chaitanya Yatra' (yatra to raise peoples awareness)in Yadadri district yesterday as part of gearing up for simultaneous elections to Lok Sabha and Telangana Legislative Assembly next year.
State BJP president K Laxman had while addressing a public gathering, hit out at the TRS government for its alleged failures on various fronts and said the mass contact programme would 'expose' its failures and highlight the achievements of the NDA government at the Centre.
