At a time when most political parties are concentrating on cyber space for election campaigning, BJP has gone back to the tried and tested 'Nukkad Nataks' to reach out to the masses.

BJP has roped in some artistes, who hail from Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad, to organize "Nukkud Nataks" in the seven Lok Sabha constituencies across the national Capital.

"As the Modi wave is everywhere in the county, we would try to reach out to people of Delhi through such street plays. In such street plays, artistes would appeal people to cast their votes in the coming Lok Sabha elections and make Narendra Modi PM of the country," said a party leader.

In the "Nukkud Nataks", which will begin from Chandni Chowk constituency from where party state president Harsh Vardhan is contesting the Lok Sabha elections, artistes will also play the role of AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal using his trademark muffler.

"We would expose Kejriwal how he ran away from his responsibility and fooled the people on several issues like electricity and water.

Apart from AAP, we would also raise the issues of 2G scam and other scams committed by Congress," said BJP MLA Mahender Nagpal, who is looking after management of Nukkad Nataks.

Nagpal said that in the first phase, Nukkad Nataks will start in Chandi Chowk on March 23 or 24, adding that in second phase, party would organize such street plays in other Lok Sabha constituencies.

Asked if the party was going back to "old method", he said that "Nukkad Nataks" was a strong tool to reach out to more people and party hoped that people of Delhi would like it.
