The BJP in Bengal will start a membership drive from next month along with a similar drive by the party's central leadership starting from November 1.
"The central leadership is all set to start membership drive from Nov 1. We will also start the membership drive from that month only in our state first at the state level, then to district and mondal level," BJP state president Rahul Sinha said.
Sinha also said that the central leadership had divided the entire party organisation into four parts and Bengal forms one of the parts, will hold a meeting of 11 states on October 31 to discuss the strategy in 11 states.

"On october 31, the state leadership along with the co incharge of 11 states will be in the city to discuss the membership drive strategy of the party. Several top central leaders will also be present in the meeting," said Sinha.
Apart from Bengal, Bihar, Orissa, Jharkhand, Assam and all Northeastern states are the other states which will attend the meeting.
