Unimpressed with the passionate plea of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar denying any role in the clash in Legislative Council, BJP today said it stood by its allegation against him of instigating JD(U) members for scuffle and asserted it would fight any action against its members whose suspension has been demanded by treasury bench.
"BJP stand by its allegation that Nitish Kumar instigated his party members to clash with BJP Legislators in the Legislative Council," leader of opposition in the Upper House Sushil Kumar Modi told PTI.
"Nitish Kumar made no efforts to stop his party MLCs who came menacingly towards me and others BJP members," he said.
