Urging West Bengal Governor K N Tripathi to ensure law and order in the state, West Bengal BJP unit today accused the ruling TMC regime of letting loose a reign of terror in Bengal.
"We met West Bengal governor today and have expressed our concerns regarding the deteriorating law and order situation in Bengal. He too has expressed concerns regarding it. We have requested him as the constitutional head of the state, to establish law and order in Bengal," BJP state president Rahul Sinha said.
Sinha, who met the governor along BJP national secretary Siddharth Nath Singh and other BJP leaders, in a letter to the governor accused the state government of letting loose a reign of terror.
The state BJP unit also requested the governor to ensure free and fair polls in the three municipal corporation elections in the state.
