"They spend the funds on advertisements containing pictures of BJP leaders and on corrupt practices," Singh said while addressing public meetings at various villages on the seventh day of his Jana Chetna Yatra.
Ajay said under the present BJP government in Madhya Pradesh, farmers were passing through tough times as agriculture was not benefitting them but had become a means for providing profits to businessmen.
He charged state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan with playing politics in the name of wheat purchase.
He said three villages in the Hata assembly constituency were being penalised for voting for Congress in the 2008 Assembly polls.
"There has been no electricity in these villages for the last four years, because the people there voted for Congress," he alleged.
