West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee President Adhir Chowdhury today alleged that BJP was "using" Mukul Roy to "break" Trinamool Congress.

He also alleged that CBI was going "slow" on the Trinamool general secretary.

"It is my personal belief that BJP is using Roy to break TMC ... That is why CBI is going slow in dealing with Roy in its probe into the Saradha scam," Chowdhury said.

The Congress leader also claimed that internal feud in TMC was growing by each day and the party would soon disintegrate.

"The internal feud among TMC party workers and leaders is growing everyday and the party will soon disintegrate," Chowdhury told reporters today.

Roy was questioned by the agency on January 30 in connection with the multi-crore Saradha chit fund scam.

He has given assurance that he would cooperate with the probe agency.

The Rajya Sabha MP was first summoned by CBI on January 12. Roy, who was in New Delhi at that time, had said he would meet CBI on the first occasion after returning to Kolkata.

However, after returning here on January 14, he sought 15 days extension to appear before the agency, saying he would be pre-occupied with by-elections in two seats in the state. He left for Delhi again on January 15.
