Union Minister Harish Rawat today charged the ruling BJP with using undignified language in their poll campaign for the November 25 Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh.

"I cannot understand why the BJP is using this kind of undignified language during election campaign," Rawat who is also state Congress poll coordinator told reporters.

The Union Minister for Water Resources said it appears that the BJP campaign is being run by its central leadership with local leaders assisting them.

In sharp contrast, he said that the Congress campaign is being run by leaders from Madhya Pradesh, with central leaders assisting them.

The minister said that over the years, the UPA government had given a lot of assistance to various state governments, but some of them still portrayed the central government in poor light.
