BJP State President, Pon. Radhakrishnan today welcomed the change in the stand of Private School Managements Federation, agreeing to admit poor students in the schools despite the Centre not reimbursing the fees for them for the past two years.
In a statement here today, he said the admission of 25 per cent of poor students should continue without any hurdles. "The private school managements federation have changed their stand and agreed to admit poor students in the schools" he said and welcomed it.
Criticising the centre for not paying the fees for the poor children as assured, he said it was this non-payment of fees that forced the Federation denying admission to poor students till the government paid their fees.
