Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has expressed confidence that BJP will form the next government in Uttar Pradesh in the coming 2017 elections.
"BJP will emerge victorious in UP," Khattar said.
"If other parties form alliances in Uttar Pradesh, it will directly benefit the BJP," he said while addressing a public rally in Jagadhri here.

On being asked about the SYL canal issue, the Chief Minister said, "the matter lying pending in the Supreme Court has been expedited by the present state government and the judgement would have to be accepted by all."
Notably, Haryana Assembly had unanimously passed a resolution on November 4, condemning Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal's recent statement that Punjab or Punjabis will not accept any verdict against his state's interest on river waters.
