BJP workers sell tomatoes in protest against rising veg prices

In a symbolic protest against the rising price of vegetables, affecting the common man, the BJP workers today sold tomatoes at Rs 35 per kg in Mahavir Nagar area of Tilak Nagar in Delhi, party sources said.

According to BJP state spokesperson Rajiv Babber, a large number of people, including women came out of their houses and stood in queue to purchase tomatoes sold by the BJP workers.

Babber said that this is symbolic way of awakening the people and fighting against price rise.
