BJP's Madhya Pradesh in-charge Vinay Sahastrabuddhe today expressed confidence that the party will win the coming civic elections, and rubbished the allegation that it was 'selling' tickets to aspiring candidates.
"BJP has overwhelmingly won Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in MP, it is going to do the same in the coming civic body elections," Sahastrabuddhe said.
To a question on the allegation that election tickets were being 'sold' to the aspirants, he said such reports were false. "Such a thing will not happen even in future," he added.
Asked about discontent in the party over distribution of tickets to the new entrants from Congress and BSP, Sahastrabuddhe said these people had joined BJP after being impressed by its ideology, and the discontent would be sorted out.
