Terming the Haryana government as "anti-farmer", Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) today said that if the state government doesn't "rollback its decision to hike the price of electricity" then the farmers would stop paying the bill.
"The Centre and state governments are conspiring to ruin the farmers of Haryana," BKU state chief Ratanman said and exhorted them to begin an agitation against it.
Addressing a state-level Kisan Panchayat organised at Kisan Bahwan in Shiv Colony here, Ratanman said that BKU would set up workshop at various mandis in Haryana to resolve the problems faced by farmers during paddy procurement on October 7.
