Actor-supermodel Tyra Banks says "Black Panther" is more than just a movie, it is a "movement".

The 44-year-old TV personality lauded the new Marvel film, calling the Chadwick Boseman-starrer the "self-esteem and the boost that her community" rightfully deserves, People magazine reported.

"This is the moment, we need this. We need this movie right now. It's not a movie, it's a movement. It's a living organism. This is the self-esteem and the boost that my community not just needs right now but deserves," Banks told reporters at the New York premiere of "Black Panther".

The story revolves around new King T'Challa/ Black Panther (Boseman) who returns to his reclusive, technologically advanced African country of Wakanda after the events in "Captain America: Civil War" to serve as its new leader and how he faces the challenges.

Also starring Michael B Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis among others, the film releases in India tomorrow.
