Black pepper gained at the spices market here today on good demand from stockists and traders.
However, copra Rajapur Mumbai declined following reduced demand from stockists and retailers on the back of ample arrivals from producing regions.
Rest of the spices maintained a stable trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying.

Black pepper rose by Rs 10/10 per kg to Rs 725/800 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 715/790.
However, copra Rajapur Mumbai dipped by Rs 300 per quintal at Rs 17,500 as compared to Rs 17,800 previously.
