Blanket of haze envelopes Delhi

A blanket of haze enveloped the national capital today with both the maximum and minimum temperatures rising above four degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature today settled at 25.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 12 degrees Celsius, a Meteorological Department official said.

The humidity oscillated between 96 and 54 per cent.

The Met office has forecast clear skies for tomorrow with the possibility of shallow to moderate fog in the morning.

"The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 23 and 11 degrees, respectively," the weatherman said.

Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 21.4 and 9.6 degrees, respectively.
