Blast derails train in Pakistan, 3 dead

At least three persons, including an infant, were killed and around 20 injured when seven bogies of a train derailed after a blast on a railway track in this Pakistani city today.

The blast on the railway track near Ghagar Phattak in Malir led to the derailment of seven bogies of Shalimar Express.

"Railway authorities have confirmed three casualties including an infant," a senior police official said.

The blast destroyed the railway track completely, affecting operations.
