Some elements planted an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Indian territory to target under-construction flood-lighting in Mangu Chak forward area in Samba district early today, a senior BSF officer told PTI.
There was a blast around 0915 hours, in which there was no loss of life or injury to anyone, he said, adding the flood-lighting system was not damaged.
BSF officials rushed to the spot to investigate the blast, he said.
