Blistering heat continues in UP, Banda hottest at 44.8 deg C

Scorching heat continued at many places in Uttar Pradesh where the mercury beached the 40- degree mark in seven places.

Banda was the hottest place in the state, where the mercury soared to 44.8 degrees Celsius.

Jhansi recorded a high of 44 degrees Celsius, followed by Orai 42.5 degrees Celsius, Agra 41.3 degrees Celsius, Hamirpur 40.6 degrees Celsius, Fatehgarh 40.4 degrees Celsius and Allahabad 40.2 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature in Lucknow was 37.3 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 23.9 degrees Celsius.

The weatherman has predicted clear sky and dry weather for tomorrow.
