Madison World Chairman and MD Sam Balsara has been appointed on the board of the airconditioner and commercial refrigeration maker Blue Star's as additional director.
Balsara's appointment would be effective from June 20, 2017.
He has over 45 years of experience in marketing, advertising and media.
Balsara started his career at Sarabhai's in 1972 and held various stints in Cadbury, Contract Advertising Company (WPP) and Mudra Communications, before founding Madison World in 1988.

GSK Consumer adds new toothpaste to oral care segment * Expanding its portfolio in the oral care segment, FMCG major GSK Consumer Healthcare has introduced a new toothpaste Sensodyne Deep Clean.
The company is aiming to reach around one million consumers and has partnered airlines, Rajdhani trains and business hotels for experiential sampling.
Launched in India in 2011, Sensodyne is leading brand for Dentine Hyper Sensitivity (DHS).
