BMW Motorrad slashes motorcycle prices by 10% in India

BMW Motorrad, the premium motorcycle arm of German luxury car maker BMW Group, today slashed its prices in India by up to 10 per cent.

Prices will be reduced by 10 per cent on products across categories such as Adventure, Sport, Touring, Heritage and Roadster with immediate effect, it said in a release.

"With the new attractive price-value proposition, we will offer bike enthusiasts an opportunity to experience unrivalled and exceptional motorcycling," BMW Group India president Vikram Pawah said.

The company started selling its premium range of motorcycles in India in 2017 and closed the year selling 252 units within nine months of launch.
 

At present, the German premium bike maker has outlets in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Chennai and Kochi. Besides, it is in the process of expanding its team and dealership network as well.

In India, the company sells 12 models across five product categories, which are available as completely-built units.
