Press Trust of India New Delhi
German luxury carmaker BMW on Thursday said it will raise product prices in India by around two per cent from next month.

All the products of the company's BMW models, including the Mini range, will become costlier.

"In today's economic conditions, to maintain our exceptional brand positioning and continue offering a distinct value proposition to our premium clientele, we have decided to marginally revise the prices of the BMW and MINI product portfolio," BMW Group India President Vikram Pawah said in a statement.

The company has been in the forefront of introducing innovative products, building world-class dealerships and offering services ahead of its time, he added.

At present, BMW sells a range of vehicles in India, including sedans 1, 3, 5, 6 and 7 Series, along with SUVs X1, X3, X5 and sports car M Series.

The company also sells models under the Mini and Rolls-Royce brands.
