The toll in last week's boat tragedy here has risen to 11 with one more person succumbing to her injuries at a private hospital here.
Beevi (42) was admitted to the Medical Trust Hospital here in a serious condition and treated at the Intensive Care Unit, but could not be saved, a hospital spokesman said.
Two more injured people admitted in the hospital are out of danger, the spokesman added.
The passenger boat carrying about 35 people was on its way from Vypin to Fort Kochi when it was hit by a speeding fishing craft at the harbour mouth on August 26, killing six people and injuring several others.
Around 20 passengers were rescued from and admitted to various hospitals.
