Bobby Kristina Brown, who has been put on a medically induced coma after she was found unresponsive in her home on Saturday, is fighting for her life, according to her family.
Brown's family released a statement asking for privacy and prayers as they deal with the crisis, reported Huffington Post.
"Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family. As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly appreciate your continued support," the family said in its statement.
Bobby Brown, Kristina's father, previously released a statement on Sunday, saying, "Privacy is requested in this matter. Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time."
The circumstances of Kristina's drowning in the bathtub, which are eerily similar to her mother Whitney Houston's death two years ago in February, are under investigation.
The police responded in "reference (to) a drowning" her home but they have ruled out foul play so far.
"There were nothing there that indicated that anything out of the ordinary happened. There were no drugs out in the open," the police said.
