Bodies of three members of the same family, bearing several injury marks, were recovered from their residence in Baguihati area of North 24 Parganas district, police said today.
Bodies of Gyanendranath Mitra (60) his wife Bimala (50) and younger daughter Soma (27) were found by police from their residence last night after the neighbours complained of foul smell coming from the house, a senior officer of Baghuihati Police Station said.
Six persons including three women have been detained in this connection and a case of murder has been registered, he said.
