Bodies of three minor brothers were recovered and their mother was rescued from a well at a village in Odisha's Angul district today.
The bodies of the three boys aged around six years, four years and two years were brought out of the well at Gurujang village under Kishorenagar police station by fire brigade personnel, Sub-Divisional Police Officer of Athamallik Gopal Patnaik said.
Their mother was rescued from the well, but she fled the scene shortly after being brought out, he said.
An investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances that led to the incident and efforts are on to locate the woman, police said, adding the woman's husband is currently in jail.
