Bodies of a man and a woman was found on railway tracks in Baran district of Rajasthan, police said today.
The bodies were spotted by locals last night, a police official said.
"Ankit and Naina had a love affair for some time. Their bodies were found on railway tracks. The matter is being investigated to ascertain whether it was an accident or suicide," the official said.
The parents of Ankit had fixed his marriage some other girl, SHO of city police station Vijay Shankar Sharma said, adding parents of the deceased duo, however, expressed ignorance about any love affair between them.
The bodies were handed over to the family members after postmortem this morning, police said.
