80-year-old Bhubaneswar Sahu and his 48-year-old daughter Sushama Sabat were found at Marapalli village in Hinjili police station area by neighbours, the sources said.
There was no sign of violence or a break in, inspector in charge, Hinjili police station Subash Chandra Panda said.
No other family member was in the house. The daughter was living with her father for the last few years following separation while Sahu's son was working in Mumbai. His wife had died several years ago.
The post-mortem report was awaited to ascertain the cause of death, Panda said.
