The body of a man and a woman were found at a park in central Delhi's Paharganj area on Thursday, police said.
They have been identified as Vipin Kumar and Saroj, both natives of Mahendergarh in Haryana, they said.
The bodies don't have any visible injury marks, officials said.
Prima facie, it seems that both of them committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance, a senior police officer said.
The spot was inspected by the crime team and the bodies were shifted to the Lady Harding Medical College, the officer said.
Upon enquiry, it was revealed that the duo was missing from Mahendergarh since Tuesday. Mahendergarh police and the family members of the deceased have been informed, the officer added.
Further investigation is underway, the police said.
