Bodies of a 35-year-old woman and her 7-month-old daughter were found from the residence of her in-law's place under Raina police station in Burdwan district, police said today.
The woman, Rubiya Beghum, took her daughter Muskan in the second floor of the house at Balagarh village last night. After sometime, the family members found that Muskan is lying with her complexion turned blue while Rubiya was hanging from the ceiling.
Though it appears that Rubiya poisoned her child and then committed suicide, police said they are looking into all angles.
