Police today recovered the dead

body of a man, aged around 40 years, in the jungles of Chirodi village in Loni area of the district, an official said.

Loni Police Inspector Gorakh Nath Yadav said that the body was recovered from a small puddle in a decomposed state upon information of passersby and could not be identified.

No cloth has been found on his body except a shirt, he said, adding that even no injury marks were found on the corpse.

The body has been sent for post mortem, he said.

Meanwhile, another dead body of a woman, in her twenties, has been recovered today from jungles of Salemabad village in Muradnagar town of the district, police said.
 

Muradnagar police station officer RP Sharma told that the body has been eaten by animals and her face bore scratch marks.

It seems that she was killed somewhere else and her body dumped here in the jungles, he said, adding that the body has been sent for post mortem.
