Body of eight-year-old school boy found in a gunny bag

Tension prevailed in Amboda village of Akola district since Thursday after a gunny bag containing the dead body of an eight-year-old school boy identified as Shubham Shivarkar was found floating in a well on a farm last evening, the police said here today.

Shubham is a third standard student and the only son of Mahesh Shivarkar, according to Amboda village police sources.

Shivarkar, who belongs to the tribal community, has three children, including two daughters and his only son Shubham, whose body was found.

The deceased child was found missing on February 25 afternoon after he was playing in the courtyard of his house.
 

His parents and other relatives made a hectic search but it was vain.
