Body of a kidnapped junior college student of Assam's Nagaon district was recovered in Meghalaya, police said today.
The student identified as Rezaul Pervage, a resident of Daboka, was kidnapped on October 20 from the private hostel in Nagaon where he was residing, a police officer said here.
After his father Abdul Hannan lodged an FIR in Nagaon Sadar Police Station and a case was registered U/S 364/A (no 2119/15), police arrested one Iqbal Hussain and a driver identified as Shund Miya who had kidnapped Rezaul, the offider said.

Following lead provided by the two - police recovered Rezaul's body a couple of days later from Nongpoo area of Meghalaya where he was taken in a car and killed inside the vehicle before his body got dumped in the dense forest there, the officer said.
It is learnt though motive of kidnapping was to demand ransom money, the abductors demanded Rs one crore for his release evern after eliminating the youth.
Search was on for the three remaining accomplices of the abductors, the Assam police official added.
Rezaul's classmates took out a procession yesterday and submitted a memorandum to Nagaon district authorities demanding punishment to the kidnappers.
